What is the August Challenge?
As we finish the summer and look to start the fall, there sits August. Is it really summer or is it fall? So, to help bridge the gap between summer and fall, the Women’s Ministry would like to ask you to participate in the August Challenge. This August Challenge will take us to the Word, take us to our knees, encourage us, and challenge us to pray daily.

Who is this for?
Any woman! Maybe you are already involved in daily Bible Study—do not worry this can be a supplement to your study. Maybe you are struggling in being consistent in the Word—you will find this both manageable and encouraging as you seek to develop the discipline of being in the Word. Maybe you are looking for something you and your daughter or you and a friend can do together. Maybe you are just looking for something to fill the gap between your summer study and your fall study—then this is it!

Instructions
Each day you will read and then write out a set of verses in the provided notebook. You will be guided through a set of questions asking you to reflect on what the text says about the character and heart of God; to reflect on what the text says about mankind in general; and to reflect through prayer time with the Lord regarding how He is using the text to challenge, encourage, convict or teach you.

Registration
Register below by July 22 for the August Challenge at briarwood.org/women. Then beginning Sunday July 25 through Sunday, August 1 you can pick up the material in the Women’s Ministry Office, Room A106 in the Administration wing. If you are able, we would ask that you make a $3 donation to cover the material costs. However, please do not let this prevent you from participating.
