We are a community of college students from around the Birmingham area who gather at Briarwood on Sunday morning and in various settings during the week. We desire to be a community that seeks to worship, to engage in fellowship, to love and encourage one another, and to be reminded of the missional focus of the Christian life. We gather during the week, as well as on Sunday, for development and outreach. By making you aware of opportunities on your campuses, utilizing the resources and events of Briarwood Church, and designing our own events, we seek to help you on your spiritual journey.

College Lunches–Once a month time for students to fellowship and enjoy a FREE home cooked meal after the worship service. Lunch Dates: Aug. 30, Sept. 13, Oct. 18, Nov. 15, Dec. 6.

T.A.G. (Training Another Generation)
Titus 2 informs us of the importance of having older men and women training and teaching younger men and women in the ways of godliness. This is a lifestyle mentoring ministry, where men and women of Briarwood Church can invest in the lives of each other through loving, leading, listening, guiding, encouraging, and discipling. Mentors have the opportunity to bring college students into their own current season of life and be a source of support and growth as they both strive in growing in their relationships with Jesus Christ, involvement in the Church, and sharing His love with the world.

Summer internships are designed to give the intern hands-on ministry experience through relationships with students, discipleship, teaching opportunities, and planning of meetings and special events. In addition, the internship program offers theological and ministry training, community with other believers, and an opportunity to work alongside the children/youth/college Pastors.
