SUMMER WORSHIP/MINISTRY TRANSITION PLAN

Briarwood’s Summer Worship/Ministry Transition Plan is now underway. We have returned to two Sunday morning worship services and one Sunday School hour for all ages on Sunday mornings. Our evening 6:00 p.m. service remains unchanged. Click here now to see details on these and other changes.


HONORING THE BARKERS

Join us this Sunday, June 20 as we honor 61 years of service to the Lord by the Barkers, Frank and Barbara. Dr. Barker is the Founding Pastor of Briarwood and now serves as Pastor Emeritus. We’ll take a moment in both morning worship services to recognize all this family has given over the years.


LADIES SUMMER DROP-IN

MEN’S SUMMER STUDIES

Wednesdays this summer we’re looking at Exodus 20 and the Ten Commandments from the Westminster Larger Catechism, and Fridays the Thomas Watson book, All Things for Good: An Exposition of Romans 8:28Both classes meet in-person and via Zoom at 6:30 a.m., so come on in for biscuits and coffee or join us online and make this a summer of spiritual growth! THE BRIARWOOD APP

Five years ago this week we launched our free app, available in all app stores under BriarwoodPCA. Over these past five years the app has been downloaded 13,248 times, launched 362,612 times and provided 1,791,432 impressions. The app provides easy access to all our multi-media content including our radio station (in stereo), all the sermon archives from the past five years, a quick review of current events, and so much more. If you don’t have the app on your device…why not? Just search “briarwoodpca” in your app store and add this useful tool to your resources for furthering your walk with the Lord.


NEW DIRECTION MINISTRY

CHRISTIANITY IN AMERICA CELEBRATION

Mark your calendar now for July 4 at 6:00 p.m. and come celebrate Christianity in America with the Briarwood Sanctuary Choir and Festival Orchestra. We’ll honor our veterans, sing songs of faith and patriotism, and have a time of great fellowship. What a great way to finish off the Lord’s Day and one so pivotal to our country! BRIARWOOD CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE

The Briarwood Christian Bookstore is now open with regular in-person shopping Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You may also shop the Bookstore virtually by phone (205.776.5210), email (bookstore@briarwood.org) or online by clicking here anytime. We can then either mail your purchase to you or arrange for package pickup at the church. Please come and see us soon…we’ve missed you!
