Briarwood MidWeek is just around the corner and is our front-page feature this week. Get to know our new Women’s Ministry Director, Kristie Harrick, in this week’s feature article, and see the reminder of the coming semester with Birmingham Theological Seminary. Sadly, we’ve had a large number of deaths in our church family this past week, and you’ll want to check “Briarwood Families” so you are aware of these. There are more and more announcements pertinent to coming fall opportunities, and there are still many employment opportunities, too. So click here now to read this week’s edition.
Pastor Reeder will continue his brand-new sermon series on I Peter this Sunday; this week’s sermon is “Elect Exiles.” You can click here to watch his Vlog from last week describing this new series. Sunday evening brings our Christian Education Convocation, and the sermon titled, “Renewing Your Mind” from Romans 12:1–2. Click here to see this week’s Sunday Worship Bulletin.

If you’re ready to be challenged, to wrestle with the great truths of Scripture, to dig deeply into God’s Word, then BTS is ready for you. You do not have to be a pastor, church leader, or headed to the ministry to take classes at BTS. Many come simply to grow in their knowledge of the Word. You are encouraged to do the same! The fall semester will begin Tuesday, September 5. Click here to see a class listing, or come by and see us in the BTS Office in A203.
