The annual Birmingham Rally and March takes place this Saturday, Jan. 12 at 10:45 a.m. in Brother Bryan Park. Briarwood Pastor Emeritus Dr. Frank Barker will deliver the opening prayer. The Briarwood Music Ministry invites you to join a choir this winter! Whether it’s a Children’s Choir, Youth Choir, or the Adult Choir, there’s a place for you to use your gifts to God’s glory! Play an instrument? The Briarwood Orchestra or Bell Choir may be where you need to be! Come to the Worship Center Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. if you’re interested in Adult Choir or orchestra; youth come to the Choir Room at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays; Children’s Choirs meet during the Sunday evening worship service. Mark your calendar now for Sunday, January 20…our next diaper and wipe drive at Briarwood. Please bring diapers (all sizes) and wipes with you to church that morning to benefit Fostering Hope Ministry, and leave behind your vehicle for the Mercy Ministry to collect while you are in worship or Sunday School.


Dr. John Morgan, founding pastor of Sagemont Church in Houston, Texas will be our guest speaker at this year’s Blast, February 15. Come for the interactive exhibits at 4:30 p.m., the door prizes, the delicious barbecue meal at 6:30 p.m…but mainly to let a friend or relative hear the gospel presented in a fun, non-threatening setting.
