Briarwood member Gary Palmer, our 6th district Congressman, will speak this Sunday, September 16 right after the second morning service in the Fellowship Hall. As he has done since taking office, the Congressman will give us an update on the many legislative issues facing our state and district. Briarwood MidWeek is underway Wednesday nights, and there’s something for the whole family to do. It begins with the Fellowship Dinner from 5:15–6:30 p.m., then classes and activities of all kinds for everyone. Ladies, fall Bible studies are offered nine different times, Mondays–Thursdays, giving you options to pick and choose the topic and time that’s right for you. Whether you’d rather study a book of the Bible such as Isaiah, Job, James, Acts or Romans, or studies such as “The Word of the Lord” or “Union with Christ,” you’re sure to find one that will help you grow spiritually this fall. Monday and Friday mornings, Tuesday lunch, and Wednesday evenings are all times men can choose a study for this fall, now getting underway.
