We’ll enjoy the teaching of two of Briarwood’s staff members this Lord’s Day—in the morning, Rev. Jim Alexander will bring us “Having the Mind of Christ” drawn from Philippians 2:1–11. Then at 6:00 p.m., Rev. Michael Wichlan will open II Samuel 9 with, “Who’s Welcome at the King’s Table?” Click here for the Sunday bulletin.

How do the Bible and we as Christians stand up to scrutiny? The Stand to Reason reThink Apologetics Student Conference returns to Briarwood, April 26–27. This year’s theme: Has God Spoken? You can see the full schedule and the list of speakers by clicking here as well as register for your spot with early bird rates before April 18 for maximum savings. The Briarwood Student discount ends April 1. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to defend your faith in an increasingly hostile culture.

Place one or more lilies in the Worship Center this Easter in memory or honor of someone special. It only takes a minute, and you can do it right here online, by picking up an envelope at the Worship Center Lobby Information Desk or hallway kiosk, by going by the Membership Office during office hours, or by calling 776-5282. However you make your dedication, be sure you do it before April 7. You’ll be able to take your plant(s) home with you after the 10:55 a.m. Easter service.

Did you know that altogether there were nine messages given during the recent Global Ministries Conference? All of them are now available, right here on the website. If you’d like to hear one again or one you missed…or maybe recommend one to a friend, just click here now to access them all.

Mark April 14–21 on your calendar now as this year’s “Week of Passion,” a time when all Christians remember and observe the ultimate sacrifice Christ made for us. At Briarwood, we mark this week with special services and concerts. Click here to see this year’s Holy Week schedule.

Briarwood’s combined children’s choirs will present the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 in a musically unique and memorable way Sunday, April 28 at 6:00 p.m. Come and hear a retelling of this beloved gospel story!
