Palm Sunday, April 13, Pastor Reeder brings us a look at John 12:12–32 with, “The Hour Has Come.” Join us as we begin our look at Holy Week…the Week of Passion…as Jesus’ remaining days on earth unfold with His anointing, triumphal entry into Jerusalem, and the beginning of the plot to put Him to death. This will be an excellent way to prepare your heart and mind for what God might teach you this coming week.

Briarwood’s Preschool and Elementary Choirs come together for a spring concert this Sunday, April 13 at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. Come hear our covenant children as they sing for us the story of Esther, an important believer from the Old Testament. The Preschool Choir will present “Sing for Spring,” six songs they have been preparing this winter and spring, and will recite Matthew 28:1–6 for us, too!
Holy Week is a special time at Briarwood. April 20 is Easter Sunday—always a special day at Briarwood, and this year it will be even more so as we welcome the group GLAD in both morning services, then a free concert that evening! Make plans to join us for a wonderful Resurrection Sabbath.
Come one, come all to Briarwood’s annual Church Picnic, April 27 from 3 to 7 p.m.! A fun time to be had for all, members and non-members, as we have inflatables, facepainting, Bluegrass music and a delicious barbeque dinner in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30.
