Advent activities continue this weekend with the Briarwood Christmas Festival, “Break Forth Into Singing!” Sunday night at 7:00 p.m. (PLEASE NOTE THE TIME!) as shown on this week’s cover. You’ll also see the schedule for Christmas Eve, read about last week’s Walk Through Nativity from Benny Youngblood, see one of Cindy Reeder’s favorite Christmas Books in the Bookstore, and read many important seasonal and year-end announcements. To insure you don’t miss an important announcement, you’ll want to be sure and peruse this week’s edition, so click here now to read it.
Our fourth Advent lesson this Sunday morning from Pastor Reeder will be “The Grace of God has Appeared—To Secure Us,” once again using Titus 2:11–15. At 7:00 p.m. the Worship Center will come alive with this year’s Christmas Festival. The Chancel and Chapel Choirs will be joined by the Festival Orchestra and Briarwood Ballet in this year’s presentation of sacred and contemporary Christmas music. There is no admission fee, and you’re asked to make Nursery reservations at briarwood.org/nursery. Click here to read this Sunday’s Worship Bulletin.
The Chancel (Adult) Choir, Festival Orchestra, Youth Choir, and Briarwood Ballet present a program of sacred choral and instrumental music. Whether your favorite is the “Hallelujah Chorus” or “All Is Well,” there’s wonderful music of the season here for everyone! No admission fee.
10:00 a.m. Lord’s Day Worship Service (no Sunday School)
