TRAVEL WITH THE PASTOR

Two wonderful opportunities are coming this summer to travel and learn with the pastor…July 22–24, it’s the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, a wonderful precursor to our August Conference on Theology and Life. Then July 27–August 6, it’s the trip of a lifetime as you retrace the travels of the Apostle Paul on the Aegean Sea aboard the Sea Cloud sailing vessel. Click here for information on both of these coming trips.

CHILDREN & YOUTH SUMMER ACTIVITIES

Make this a summer of fun AND spiritual growth for your children. We’ve compiled a list of activities available on one page for K5–12th graders that will allow you to explore the many offerings and sign up for those opportunities that need to know you’re coming. Click here to see the list.

SUNDAY SCHOOL SUMMER QUARTER

Briarwood’s Summer Sunday School quarter begins June 2, and you can now see all the classes offered in the new Quarterly. If you’re new to Briarwood, you’ll find many of the children’s classes are somewhat different during the summer, so you’ll want to check out Children’s Sunday School on page 3! Click here to read it online.

WOMEN’S SUMMER DROP-IN SERIES

“Whatsoever is true” comes from Philippians 4:8, about how we are to think on the truth of the Word and let the Word be our guide in understanding and leading our daily living. Tuesdays in June and July we will explore some of the lies that we as women fall prey to, and we will counter them with the truth of the Word. Click here for study details and click here to reserve morning Nursery.

UNCOMMON MANHOOD–A Study of the Life of David

God calls David “a man after my heart.” What a significant stamp of approval, yet we know David wasn’t perfect. While we see the many mistakes of David, we know that he loved God and lived for Him. All men are invited to join us Wednesday mornings this summer for this special study led by various teachers such as Harry Reeder, Olan Stubbs, Jason Ellerbee, and others. Click here for complete details, and invite a friend to join you!

CHRISTIANITY IN AMERICA CELEBRATION

Mark your calendar now for June 30 at 6:00 p.m. when we’ll gather to hear and sing stirring patriotic songs, honor our veterans and active duty military, and hear from keynote speaker, Congressman Gary Palmer, our 6th District Representative and a member of Briarwood. Click for more information.
