POINSETTIA DEDICATIONS

Dedicating a poinsettia in memory or honor of someone special for Christmas is a wonderful way to remember them and help decorate the Worship Center for Christmas at the same time. It’s easy to do; just drop by the Membership Office during office hours or click here to make your dedication online. Dedications will be accepted through Sunday, Dec. 5.

Advent and the Christmas season is a special time at Briarwood, with many special programs and opportunities for worship and witnessing to friends and family. Click here now to see the schedule for the season, mark your calendars, and prepare to share the Good News of our coming Savior!

WALK THROUGH NATIVITY–VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Briarwood presents this annual gift to the community Dec. 8–10 from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. each evening. Hundreds of Briarwood members come together to depict the birth and life of our Lord in twelve biblical scenes with narrated drama including live actors and animals (including a camel!) Make this a Christmas tradition with your family. Admission is free, but the message is priceless! Click here for more information.

VOLUNTEERS ARE STILL NEEDED! BRIARWOOD MEMBERS CLICK HERE.

LIGHT ETERNAL–BRIARWOOD BALLET

Long before the angelic proclamation to the hillside shepherds, the Promise of Christmas was in the heart of God. The Promise was first whispered in the Garden, then echoed by the prophets until it finally rang out from the sky above Bethlehem. Come join Briarwood Ballet Sunday, Dec. 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center as we celebrate the Eternal Light of God that has come into our world. There is no admission fee. Click here to make Nursery reservations.

HALLELUJAH! A BRIARWOOD CHRISTMAS IN LIVING PORTRAITS

December 19 at 6:00 p.m. in the Worship Center, join us for a special program featuring the Briarwood Sanctuary Choir, Orchestra, Drama, and Ballet. The program will include favorite Christmas hymns and carols with classics such as “Mary Did You Know?” and the Hallelujah Chorus—all narrated from the perspective of the Apostle Paul within a beautifully designed new set. No admission fee. Click for program details. Click here to make Nursery reservations.

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES

Briarwood invites the community to our Family Candlelight Services at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Music of the season and the Christmas story as related in the Scriptures hallmark this service, concluding with the entire Worship Center lit only by candlelight. A memorable way to help your family focus your Christmas celebration on the One whose birthday we celebrate! A more intimate Candlelight Communion service is observed at 11:00 p.m., also. Click here to make Nursery reservations for the 3:00 and 5:00 services.

DECEMBER 26 SCHEDULE

The Sunday after Christmas we will celebrate with a single morning service at 10:00 a.m., with no Sunday School and no evening service. January 2 we will return to a normal schedule.
