SANCTITY OF LIFE SUNDAY

Briarwood will observe Sanctity of Life Sunday this Sunday, January 17. Because of COVID restrictions, our Ministry Partners who usually join us that day will not be able to attend in person. DIAPER/WIPE DRIVE

As part of Sanctity of Life Sunday, our Fostering Hope and Mercy Ministries will host a Diaper and Wipe Drive this Sunday, January 17. The drive will benefit the Ministry of Bundles of Hope, for parents who are fostering children. Please place diapers and baby wipes behind your vehicle as you go into worship to be picked up by our deacons.


WOMEN’S SPRING STUDIES

Ladies, you are invited to join in on one or more of the eight studies which have just begun: The prophets Elijah and Elisha, Mark, Esther, Proverbs, Pilgrim’s Progress, Loving God with All My Heart, Kay Arthur’s Finding Hope When Life Seems Dark, and Nancy Guthrie’s The Son of DavidClick here to see details and to sign up for the class(es) you would like.


MEN’S WINTER/SPRING STUDIES

Men there are four studies from which to choose, just getting underway. Subjects include the Gospel of Mark, the Book of Proverbs, the Westminster Confession of Faith, or Heaven by Randy Alcorn. INTERIM MINISTRY/WORSHIP PLAN E

Briarwood has now resumed in-person evening worship at 6:00 p.m. Sunday. This Sunday, Pastor Reeder resumes his series on Eternity in Biblical Perspective. The service is also available livestreamed. THE APOSTLES’ CREED SERIES

Pastor Reeder’s recently completed 20-sermon series on The Apostles’ Creed is now available in this 20-CD compilation at the Briarwood Christian Bookstore. COMMUNITY FOOD DRIVE

The Briarwood Community Food Drive continues, and the Mercy Ministry and Christian Service Mission is most grateful for your support since last spring. The need still exists, so please continue to bring non-perishable foods to the marked trailer now located in Parking Lot B, Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Sundays 7:45 a.m.–1:00 p.m.


WORSHIP CENTER ROOFING PROJECT

We are in the process of replacing the Worship Center Roofing System. Join us in prayer for the safety of the workers and the quality of workmanship. For your protection please do not enter the fenced areas, and your patience during this season of renovation to our Worship Center is appreciated.
