NURSERY COMMITTEE
The duties of the Nursery Committee are to assist the Nursery Director on Sunday mornings by serving at the “brown desk.” The desk is where members and volunteers come to get their assignments for the morning and visitors come to get information on the appropriate room for their nursery-age children.
The Nursery Committee ladies serve 5–6 Sundays a year, from 7:50–11:45 a.m., in a team of two. The committee year runs from February to February. The committee members follow the Sunday morning procedure check-off list that is available in the Nursery folder at the brown desk. This list walks them through the duties that need to be done throughout the morning. The ladies are responsible for finding their replacement on a particular Sunday if they are not able to serve. The ladies also host a “Workers Lunch” during the summer where all Nursery workers are encouraged to come. The lunch is typically held at the Caroline House on a Sunday immediately after late church. The members bring a small gift and sign up to bring a food item for the ladies.
