Director of Counseling
Briarwood Presbyterian Church, PCA is seeking a Director of Counseling. The Director will lead our counseling ministry that has been blessed to make an eternal impact in many lives of both our members and non-members. He will be an experienced counselor and have the ability to train others to counsel from a Biblical Counseling philosophy. He will provide direct leadership and oversight for our entire Counseling Ministry. He and his team of staff and lay counselors will provide counseling within our Church and from our Church to the community. A good fit would be someone with good relational skills who is approachable and has the ability to connect well with people. He will either be ordained or ordainable in the PCA, be visibly committed to the church and embrace working on the staff team at Briarwood. He will serve as the Briarwood Counseling Pastor and report to our Shepherding Team Pastor. Children’s Ministry Staff
The Children’s Ministry staff would focus on the Ignite ministry (4-6th grade) and Super Summer programming primarily by planning and implementing all programming and personally ministering to our 4-6th grade girls. In addition, the Children’s Ministry Staff would assist the children’s staff team in in various programming for all children between the ages of K4-6th grades. This would include: Children’s Worship, VBS, Catechism Sunday school, and Children’s special events. This is a full time position. Director, Senior High Ministry
This person will implement and oversee a complete ministry to Senior High students including: personal ministry, programming, volunteer recruiting and development, discipling, assisting parents, and developing and participating in a shepherding plan for the church’s High School students. In addition, this person is responsible for recruiting, training, and overseeing the four youth ministry staff. This position reports to the Family Pastor and ministers alongside the senior high staff. Nursery Administrative Supervisor

Full-Time Grounds Manager
This position is for an individual with working knowledge of lawn maintenance, equipment, plants, and irrigation. The job requires physical activity and attention to detail. CMMA Field Staff / Male Disciple-maker
The basic function for this position is to assist the Executive Director in his goals to win and build multiplying disciples in the medical community in Birmingham and to assist in the planning, organizing, and administrating of our weekly and annual activities to impact Birmingham with the gospel. Christian Medical Ministry of Alabama (CMMA) is seeking a full-time administrative and ministry assistant for support of its operational and ministerial programs. Special Connections Ministry
Special Connections is seeking a part-time person to work primarily on Sunday mornings from 7:45 a.m.–10:45 a.m., to care for teens and adults with autism or developmental disabilities. It may also include some Sunday nights and Wednesday nights on an as-needed basis. The care could potentially be physically demanding. The ideal candidate is someone with a love for Christ and to serve others with disabilities. They would need to have the necessary experience, training and skills to provide quality care.
