Getaway Retreat | February 8-9, 2025
Raiders, 7^th – 8^th grade students

What: Getaway is an annual retreat that Raiders takes to “get away” from distractions in order to seek and worship God. This weekend will include teaching, worship, the annual frozen octopus football competition, the amazing race, a bonfire, and tons of fun!
Where: Camp McDowell in Nauvoo, AL
Cost: $85 – Early Bird Special due by December 18 | $125 – As of December 19
Includes lodging, meals, and transportation. *non-refundable*
Who: All current 7th-8th graders
Guest Speaker: Tyler Tilford grew up in Birmingham, AL, and attended Auburn University, where he met his amazing wife, Ashleigh. Tyler faithfully serves locally as the Youth Ministry Director at Homewood Community Church. He previously worked as the Junior High Director at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church for 6.5 years. Tyler loves ministry and is looking forward to speaking with Raiders at Getaway!

In consideration of the church making this event available, I do hereby release and discharge Briarwood Presbyterian Church, its employees and agents from all liability of any kind or nature, claim, demand, or cause of action which might be asserted against the church. In case of illness or injury, the Briarwood Youth Ministry staff is hereby authorized by me to provide necessary medical care and is released from all legal responsibility. I understand that this is a RELEASE and with that knowledge, I voluntarily agree. I hereby authorize Briarwood Presbyterian Church or its representatives, to photograph, digitize, or otherwise preserve in permanent form my child's likeness and/or image. I agree that any such likeness may be used and reused in whole or in part for multimedia productions, internet distribution, illustration, promotional purposes, and distribution as deemed fit by Briarwood Presbyterian Church.*
