Nursery Committee Interest Form

The duties of the Nursery Committee are to assist the Nursery Director on Sunday mornings by serving at the “brown desk.” The desk is where members come to get their volunteer assignments for the morning and visitors come to get information on the appropriate room for their nursery-age children. The Nursery Committee ladies serve 5–6 Sundays a year, from 7:50–11:45 a.m., in a team of two. The committee members follow the Sunday morning procedure check-off list that is available in the Nursery folder at the brown desk. This list walks them through the duties that need to be done throughout the morning. The ladies are responsible for finding their replacement on a particular Sunday if they are not able to serve. The Nursery Committee also participates in the Nursery appreciation week by signing up to bring food items.
