Esther
Led by Elizabeth Bondurant and Kristie Harrick
The book of Esther unpacks the intriguing narrative of a Jewish woman and her cousin, Mordecai, who stayed behind in Persia following the exile—and how they were instrumental in saving God’s people in that place. With no mention of God anywhere in the book of Esther, it nonetheless illustrates His sovereignty over all things and His faithfulness to His covenant promises. The story of Esther is perfect guidance for us when we find ourselves in a situation where right and wrong are not so clearly defined and every choice we have seems to be a troubling mixture of good and bad.
Meets Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall A. Nursery is available with registration.
