Young Couples Pastor
Briarwood Presbyterian Church is seeking to hire a Young Couples Pastor. He will provide leadership and will shepherd our Young Couples Ministry. He will invest his time in ministering to our young couples and their families to enfold them in the church, equip them for ministry and minister to their pastoral needs. He will also provide pastoral leadership in other ministry areas of the Church as would fit his gifting and the needs of the Church. The person who would be most effective in this position would have strong leadership skills, a love for people, shepherding gifts and experience leading in ministry. He would either be ordained, ordainable or on a track to be ordained in the PCA, with a commitment to Reformed theology and Presbyterian doctrine. Church Administrator
Briarwood Presbyterian Church PCA, Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a full-time Church Administrator. The Administrator serves as the chief administrative officer of Briarwood overseeing all financial, operational, and personnel matters affecting the church, staff, and members. This role ensures the effective and efficient operation of church ministries by managing resources, facilities, personnel and safety while supporting the mission of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. This position directly supervises multiple department managers, providing leadership and oversight in key operational areas such as finance, facilities, communications, food services, technology, and retail services. The Church Administrator works closely with the Pastor, Senior Staff, Elders, and Church Leadership to develop and implement policies that enhance the church’s mission and ministry. Shepherding Pastor for Senior Adults
Briarwood Presbyterian Church is seeking to hire a Shepherding Pastor for our Senior Adult Ministry. He will provide shepherding leadership with a team to shepherd our church. He will shepherd around six Congregational Communities (500-600 people); serve as a Community Pastor in several Congregational Communities; lead Community Pastors; and work closely with lay shepherds. He will lead our Trailblazer Ministry alongside a ministry assistant. He will invest his time in the spiritual growth of members, assure pastoral care needs are met, facilitate member involvement, and the assimilation of new members. The person who would be most effective in this position would have an intrinsic love for people, have strong people skills, and is approachable. He should have experience shepherding with a Church, strong leadership skills and have experience in leading volunteers. He will also be responsible for other Church ministry responsibilities as fits his gifting and the needs of the Church. He would either be ordained or ordainable in the PCA, with a commitment to Reformed theology and Presbyterian doctrine.
