Sportsman’s Blast 2023
On Friday, February 10, 2023, please plan to join us for the 20th Annual Briarwood Sportsman’s Blast! This should be our best Blast ever with great Bluegrass music, Bar-B-Que, fantastic door prizes and one of the nation’s most effective speakers who will present the Gospel with great stories, humor, and Biblical clarity. The doors will open at 6:00 p.m. and the program will start at 7:00 p.m.
Our Blast speaker, Jerry Leachman, played football at Alabama where he was an outstanding linebacker and winner of the Bear Bryant Headhunter Award. He served as Chaplain to the Washington Redskins during the tenure of seven coaches and continues to speak to many NFL teams. He has also served as Chaplain for Fox News and has ministered to Presidents, their staffs, and their families as well as many members of Congress. Jerry and his wife, Holly, live in Colorado where he has a ministry to hunters.
Briarwood’s focus this year is on personal evangelism with our 2023 theme “Project Andrew: Each One Bring One.” This is a great opportunity to act on that mission and invite non-believers to hear the Gospel at this event. Tickets are only $12 and include a BBQ dinner and entry to numerous door prizes that any outdoors-man would enjoy.
