Join us on Saturday, October 7 to learn how you can be a part of building a Disaster Response Team at Briarwood. Coffee and donuts will begin at 8:30 am and training will start promptly at 9 am and conclude by 11:30 am. If you would like to know how you can show Christ’s mercy to those who are hurting in the wake of a natural disaster, you should attend this event! Mike Kennamer will be here to discuss the many ways we can get involved in providing comfort to those who are impacted by disaster.
Mike Kennamer serves as Regional Specialist for Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia (TAG Region) and manages the Mission to North America (MNA) Disaster Response Warehouse in Rome, Georgia. MNA Disaster Response is charged by the General Assembly to provide relief and support to churches in communities impacted by disaster.
