“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing.”- Psalm 30:11a ESV

We are thrilled to announce that our contemporary performing group, Immanuel, will represent Briarwood Ballet at this year’s Alabama Dance Festival!
“Instead of Ashes”, choreographed by Immanuel’s director Meredith Dorough has been selected for ADF’s New Works Concert. This stirring quartet portrays a deeply personal story of sorrow, and reminds us that even in the midst of grief we can cling to the promise that God will redeem our pain.
We are excited for our Immanuel dancers to experience the Alabama Dance Festival and share this beautiful piece with our local dance community.

We are still filled with gratitude and awe over “O Come, Let Us Adore Him” and the amazing evening of worship we had with you all. This breathtaking performance gave us a little glimpse of heaven as we joined the angels rejoicing over our Savior’s birth.
We feel so honored and humbled by the privilege of worshipping the Lord through dance year after year. Every Christmas, our incredible students dance for an audience of one, pouring out their gifts and talents before the manger-throne of God. To God be the glory, great things he has done!

Thank you, Briarwood ballet for continuing to prepare our young ladies for a life committed to Christ and the beauty in dance! This presentation of worship and proclamation of His birth and reason for it was beyond amazing! I wept in its beauty! This was truly a Christmas Gift to all attending!
Amen!
We are still in awe of all the Lord did through “O Come Let Us Adore Him” this weekend! Our prayer was that God would be glorified through our dancing and in the hearts of our audience.
