
2025 Mobilization Opportunities
Grace House
For over 32 years, Grace House has faithfully fulfilled its mission to provide stable, Christian Homes for Alabama girls in foster care on their residential campus in Fairfield, AL. Their vision is to equip the girls with the educational, emotional and spiritual tools they need to break generational cycles of poverty and abuse and empower them to create transformational change in their own lives, families and communities.
Opportunities to Serve:
- Be Her Person – The Transitional Living Program (TLP) currently needs 6 mentors to provide one-on-one Godly guidance and support through consistent, long-term relationship building. Mentors are matched with individual girls and asked to commit to meeting up twice a month. As a mentor, you are allowed to transport girls off campus and spend time with them in any public setting.
- Take a Seat at the Study Table – Tutor after school and help a girl succeed. Requirements: Monday-Thursday, drop in between 3-6 pm. Ages 18+. All grade levels needed.
- Stock the Stockings – donate items from their Christmas Stocking List and help make Christmas morning joyful for the girls.

Aspire Movement
The Aspire Movement cultivates lasting, Gospel-centered relationships by connecting caring mentors with 4th–5th graders in Birmingham facing urban challenges. With over 375 students mentored and 75,000+ mentor hours, Aspire invests in both youth and mentors through “Life on Life” mentoring by meeting monthly over at least two years, enriched with community support, events, and prayer.
Opportunities to Serve:
- Become a Mentor – Commit to 1–2 hours/month for two+ years to guide, invest in, and mentor a child in need .
- Give Financially – A $1,200 annual gift supports one mentor-student match.
- Pray & Promote – Stay updated, pray for this ministry, and share with friends or your church community.

Restoration Academy — Faith‑based K–12 in Fairfield
Restoration Academy is a Christ-centered K–12 school in Fairfield, AL, serving urban youth with excellent academics and deep discipleship. With 100% of graduates accepted to college, RA equips students to be leaders who bring hope and change to their communities. You can get involved by volunteering to tutor or mentor, supporting scholarships and programs through giving, or attending a campus luncheon to learn more.
Opportunities to Serve:
- Volunteer/Tutor: Help with K‑12 reading, math, mentoring, clubs, athletics—weekly or one‑off support welcomes all .
- Mentor: Partner with Aspire Movement to bring life‑on‑life discipleship to RA students Aspire Movement.

North Star Soccer Ministries
North Star Soccer Ministries uses soccer as a platform to mentor urban youth in Birmingham by building confidence, character, and community in a Christ-centered environment. Beginning in 1996, the ministry now runs intramural leagues (ages 4–12), competitive travel teams, Camp NorthStar summer camps, Bible studies, after-school tutoring, and a referee training program .
Opportunities to Serve:
- Coach or mentor in intramural and travel club teams
- Drive vans to practices and games
- Sponsor teams or donate to the ministry or the capital campaign
- Support spiritual growth through Bible studies or mentoring relationships
- Attend events like the annual fundraising banquet
