Glorifying God by providing consistent, quality Christian radio and internet programming to the Briarwood congregation and the community 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. This radio/internet ministry is a major part of Briarwood’s mission statement to “Reach Birmingham to Reach the World for Christ.”
Funding is provided by designated gifts and by members, one of whom was a handicapped member who wished to make our worship services accessible to those unable to physically attend Briarwood.
As a low-power FM, WLJR transmits in mono to deliver a cleaner signal to our listening area. Our signal can be heard in stereo on all internet sources.
WLJR is affiliated with the Moody Radio Network and American Family Radio.
