On the morning of April 26, we will have the chance to partner with several of our local ministries, working together on a range of projects to support and help further their mission. This will be an opportunity to serve together as the body of Christ and IMPACT Birmingham for Christ!
Project Registrations
Use the following links to register for IMPACT Birmingham projects.
Please be sure and register a “ticket” for each attending individual, adult and child.
Volunteer shirts will be available for pickup on the mornings of April 6, 13, and 20. Tables will be set up in the Chapel Hallway and Ministry Lobby.
Details for all projects will be emailed on April 23.
Nursery reservations must be made at briarwood.org/nursery.
Big Oak Ranch
• Outdoor spring projects such as planting shrubbery, mulching, spreading pine straw, planting flowers, etc.
– Appropriate for older teens and adults

• Working in a warehouse, bundling diapers and other small projects
– Appropriate for children five and up, teenagers, adults, seniors

• Projects may include painting a fence and setting up gardens for their families

• Breaking apart pallets and cleaning slats
– Appropriate for teenagers and adults
– 10 Volunteer spots available
• Remove all overgrowth around the perimeter of a property, in playground area and rear elevation, plant new shrubbery, flowers and mulch
– Appropriate for all ages

Grace Klein: Morgan UMC FeedBHM Hub and Community Outreach Hall
• Preparation and setup for an event onsite – clean, set up tables and chairs, prepare food, make signs, put together goodie trays/baskets, etc. Other tasks include sorting, donations, logging books, bundling and bagging donated shoes, etc.

Hearts in Hands – 2 projects in the Pratt City/Forestdale area
• Deck replacement: A senior homeowner has been waiting a long time to have her unsafe deck replaced.
– Small wheelchair ramp replacement
– Time: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
– Appropriate for teenagers and adults
