About Briarwood’s Global Ministry:
The Global Ministry exists to administrate and provide care to ministries outside the United States and cross-cultural international works within the U.S. Our ministry focus is primarily evangelism, discipleship training, equipping of Christian leaders, and deeds of love and mercy. Briarwood’s annual ministry conference helps minister to the international staff as well as provides vision and opportunities for members to serve.

Global Ministry Team
Briarwood members serve as the Global Ministry Team which oversees and guides your international ministry. They are responsible for communication with international staff and the financial distribution of Faith Promise.

World Orphan Outreach
World Orphan Outreach exists to “bring justice to the fatherless” (Isaiah 1:17) by reaching out to orphans around the world with the love of Christ for the glory of God. Our vision is to mobilize Briarwood members to be actively engaged in world orphan outreach by Educating, Motivating, and Equipping. Educating: We will create awareness of the world orphan crisis and the biblical basis for our response. Motivating: We will present needs and opportunities that provide a means for the people of Briarwood to pursue God’s call to minister to orphans. Equipping: We will serve as a “resource center” for evaluating and facilitating possible orphan outreach partnerships and projects.

The Persecuted Church
The Briarwood Persecuted Church Prayer Team meets for corporate prayer on the second Sunday of the month from 5:00–6:00 p.m. in G-103. Members receive monthly updates regarding the persecuted church as well as periodic urgent prayer requests.
