Spring Performance Commitment

This year’s production is The Nightingale and the Rose, an original story by Mrs. Barker that made its debut in 2002. It is our goal to put on a program that honors our Savior and tells His story in a unique and beautiful way. In order to accomplish this, we ask that the girls be willing to make class and rehearsals a top priority. As always, involvement in the performance is both a privilege and a responsibility.

Please look at your calendar and let us know IMMEDIATELY if you have an unavoidable conflict – listing the day, the time, and the reason. Please list ALL outside commitments for the semester, not only those during the listed times. We interweave some choreography from different classes throughout the scenes. If your student has to miss a mandatory rehearsal time, they will be allowed to remain in the class dance, but may be pulled from the other choreography in the scene as we cannot go back and reset it later.

Our rehearsal will be kept up-to-date on a Google Doc that you can access from the Ballet Events page on our website. Please check it regularly for any changes or additions.
