Dr. Carson is a noted author\, and at age 33 became the youngest doctor in the history of John Hopkins Hospital to serve as Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery and Co-director of the Craniofacial Center. Perhaps even more noteworthy is his humble yet courageous witness for Christ in the public square. While not an elected public official\, Dr. Carson has throughout the years provided an effective voice in speaking to matters of public policy. Since his thoughtful presentation at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast\, he has increasingly and positively addressed crucial issues of national interest from a historically accurate and biblically informed world and life view.
