RamCorps presents over 100 concerts and ministry events a year both locally and internationally to elevate the university\, encourage music programs and edify the body of Christ. Recently\, RamCorps has traveled to some of the largest churches in America—as far west as Texas\, as far north as North Carolina\, and annually travels to South Florida; however\, their recent trip to Jamaica is what has most impacted the group. Audiences of all ages love RamCorps! Their high-impact brass and percussion performance\, in a huge variety of styles\, impresses everyone. Recent instability\, invasion\, war and suffering in Ukraine leave Americans wondering; “What’s really happening in Ukraine\,” “How can we help? How can we pray?” Music Mission Kiev (MMK) has been on the front line of ministry in Ukraine for over 24 years\, including these recent months of trauma and foreign invasion. MMK has seen\, touched\, smelled and experienced the recent horrors\, wounds and tears. Wes and Kim Janzen will bring 42 fabulous Ukrainian musicians from the Kiev Symphony Orchestra and Chorus (KSOC) to Briarwood to share a sacred concert and stories of God’s grace. Dr. Carson is a noted author\, and at age 33 became the youngest doctor in the history of John Hopkins Hospital to serve as Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery and Co-director of the Craniofacial Center. Perhaps even more noteworthy is his humble yet courageous witness for Christ in the public square. While not an elected public official\, Dr. Carson has throughout the years provided an effective voice in speaking to matters of public policy. Since his thoughtful presentation at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast\, he has increasingly and positively addressed crucial issues of national interest from a historically accurate and biblically informed world and life view.
