SUMMARY:Women's Studies a.m.
DESCRIPTION:Women of the Covenant Morning Bible Studies—\n\n\n\nThe Promised One – Seeing Jesus in Genesis by Nancy Guthrie \n\n\n\nLocation: FH-C        Leader: Teresa Caldwell \n\n\n\nThe Promised One provides a fresh look at the book of Genesis\, leading us to discover how its stories\, symbols\, people and promises point to Christ. Book cost: $18 \n\n\n\n  \nHebrews \nLocation: FH-A    Leader: Cindy Reeder \n\n\n\nThe author of Hebrews argues\, from the Law\, that redemption comes through Jesus\, rather than through the old sacrificial system. Come learn how Jesus fulfills the Old Testament and how Christians are encouraged to finish strong\, as we continue our study of the book of Hebrews. Book cost: $8 \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDates: Jan. 12–March 8 \n\n\n\nThe Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer \n\n\n\nLocation: G101   Leader: Mary Anne Turnbull \n\n\n\nEvery day an invisible war rages around you. A cunning enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you – your emotions\, your mind\, your family\, your future. Join us in a seven-session Bible study that will challenge you to suit up\, stand firm\, and secure victory in your life.  Book cost: $14 \n  \n\n\n\nDates: March 8–April 26 \n\n\n\nWhat Love Is by Kelly Minter \n\n\n\nLocation: G101   Leader: Mary Anne Turnbull \n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is Love? 1st\, 2nd & 3rd John will encourage you to remain faithful to the truth. You will be challenged to look at contrasting themes such as walking in the light instead of darkness\, truth versus lies and deception\, loving God more than loving the world\, and the meaning of true fellowship and community rather than shallowness. Book cost: $14 \n\nDates: January 12–February 16 \nLiving Victoriously in Difficult Times: You Can Find Joy Even When Life is Hard \nLocation: W202 Leader: Leigh Ann Holmes \nWhen painful or frustrating circumstances invade our lives\, lots of questions come too. Why does life so often seem unfair? Why doesn’t our all-powerful God stop the injustice and suffering for all His children? Is there some purpose in our pain? \nIn this six-week study\, we’ll examine what the Bible says about suffering and why God allows it. Through the stories of many who persevered through times of testing\, along with hope-filled scriptures\, we will discover how to find joy even when life seems unfair. We’ll also learn how to glorify God and walk in His strength\, no matter what comes our way. \n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE FOR A BROCHURE \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nCLICK HERE FOR NURSERY RESERVATIONS
