New Interim Worship / Ministry Plan

Shepherding One Another: Our present situation obviously calls for an increase in our shepherding and caring for one another. We will increase our contact ministry primarily through our Congregational Communities and we encourage you to reach out to someone each day to see how they are doing and to pray with them. Should ministry needs arise calling for in person contact, please do not hesitate to let us know by calling 205.776.5200 or emailing info@briarwood.org as we will have select members of our pastoral staff respond.

AM Worship: You can watch our regular Lord’s Day worship services at 8:00 and 10:55 a.m. streamed on the Briarwood Website, Facebook Live, Apple TV and Roku. For later viewing of the service, it will be available on the Briarwood Website, Facebook Live, Roku and Vimeo. Instructions on how to access these different options are available on our website.

PM Worship: We will provide a new recorded program called Conversations on this Present Distress with Harry & Bruce where we will answer questions that we are receiving. It will air at 6:00 p.m. on the Briarwood Website, Facebook Live, Apple TV and Roku, then will be available on demand on the Briarwood Website, Facebook Live, YouTube, Roku and Vimeo. You may submit your questions to askthepastor@briarwood.org.

Congregational Communities: Your teachers for this quarter are being encouraged to audio record their lessons each week. These recordings will be sent to each community via their class emails. If your teacher is not able to record their lessons then we will provide other recordings for you.

Men & Women of the Covenant: Lessons for each study will also be audio recorded, sent to participants of each study and available online.

Children & Youth Ministry: Videos designed for students and children will be produced each week and sent to students and their families, along with being placed online.

Small Group Bible Study: For the protection of everyone the church has transitioned to limited on campus operations. Therefore the church is not available for small group studies. We encourage continued communication with your small groups and the use of technology as opposed to meeting together. There are many recorded resources on our website for your use.

If you need assistance with how to watch a video online or listen to an audio recording that is emailed to you please visit our website and you will find a link to helpful instructions on our homepage. If you need more assistance, please call the church office at 205.776.5200 and we will have someone contact you.
