Our Summer Drop-In Series theme this year is “Whatsoever is True.” Our theme comes from Philippians 4:8 about how we are to think on the truths of the Word and let the Word be our guide in understanding and leading our daily living. Satan is the master deceiver, his lies are endless. And the lies Christian women believe are at the root of most of their struggles. “Many women live under a cloud of personal guilt and condemnation,” says Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth. “Many are in bondage to their past. Others are gripped by fear of rejection and a longing for approval. Still others are emotional prisoners.” This summer we will explore some of the lies that we as women fall prey to and we will counter them with the truths of the Word.
Join us as we explore the truths of God’s Word as it relates to:
- Trustworthiness of God (Elizabeth Bondurant)
- Relationship Idols (Brooke Cheely)
- Illusion of Control (Susan Bellows)
- Identity (Michele Cantley)
- Unmet Expectations (Jan Parks)
We will meet in the Chapel. Our time will begin with music and testimony followed by a time of study in the Word.
