Christian Character Tours

Walk the historic fields and travel the significant roads of the Civil War while studying the Christian character of both Union and Confederate generals in the execution of their duties. Experience the lessons of the Civil War like never before in these four-day, three-night trips, lead by Dr. Harry Reeder, which highlight the Christian Leadership revealed in the lives of Generals Chamberlain, Lee, and Jackson. sportsman's blast

Each winter brings the outreach opportunity known as the Sportman's Blast. Here, Briarwood men are given the opportunity to bring an unsaved friend to hear the gospel in a relaxed, unthreatening situation. Outdoor demonstrations and displays, great door prizes, a delicious barbeque meal all lead to an outstanding presentation of the gospel by a guest speaker, usually an outstanding outdoorsman in his own right.
