Since Briarwood began in 1961, the Great Commission has been our heartbeat, whether internationally, in the US, or locally in the Birmingham area. We partner with over 100 mission boards and organizations and with over 300 missionaries to reach Birmingham, to reach the world for Christ. We are also committed to establishing and assisting the Church through involvement in planting churches and church revitalization.
Our ministry focus is to be involved in evangelism and discipleship, leadership development, and deeds of love, mercy, and justice.
