Children’s Worship is offered to children ages K4-3rd grade during both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:55 a.m. Sunday Worship Services. Children’s Worship is a time for children to come together and learn about what it truly means to worship God with all their heart, with all their soul, with all their mind and with all their strength. Children’s Worship kids meet in the Children’s Auditorium every Sunday morning after being dismissed from the main worship service in the Sanctuary. Contact Barbara Lindsey for more information.
Children’s Worship is lead by dynamic worship teams that commit to serve our children for a whole year. We have 4 teams that teach once a month with an additional 5th team that teaches when there is a 5th Sunday in a given month. Each team is made up of a team leader who then recruits 3-4 team members to come along side them and prepare lessons for their given Sunday Worship Service. Each team is provided with an excellent curriculum that enables them to be creative in preparing each lesson. If you would like to lead a team or be a team member, please contact Barbara Lindsey for more information.
Children’s Worship would not be what it is today if we did not have help from our teen helpers each Sunday. Teen Helpers play an essential role in each worship service. Kids love to sit and interact with their teen helpers as well as emulate their Christian walk. Teen Helpers not only sit with the children and keep them calm, but they also help with skits, help lead praise and worship and help out our teams as needed. If you would like to get involved with Children’s Worship as a teen helper, please print out this form, fill out the needed information and return it to Barbara Lindsey or just simply put it in the children’s ministry mailbox in the mailroom!
